Citizen tips about illegal drug activity at a Madison, TN residence led to the arrest of David Glen Buckner, 45, who is accused of extracting Fentanyl gel from Fentanyl patches and then adding the Fentanyl to heroin and methamphetamine which he then allegedly sold.

Due to the danger of the suspected Fentanyl production inside, Special Response Team officers made announcements outside Buckner's residence at 300 Plymouth Rock Court in Madison. He and his girlfriend, Linda Anderson, 60, both surrendered.

Detectives in protective gear then entered the residence and recovered equipment used in processing the Fentanyl from gel to powder, a pill press, a mirror with traces of Fentanyl powder, and two Fentanyl patches.

Buckner and Anderson are each charged with manufacturing Schedule II narcotic, felony drug possession with intent to sell, and child endangerment (a 3-year-old child had been living at the residence for approximately two months).

Specialized Investigations Division narcotics detectives, Madison Precinct officers, Nashville Fire Department Hazmat Unit personnel, and the DEA assisted in the investigation.
