Greenhouse Ministries accepted a grant for $30,000 from the Veteran's Administration's Affordable Housing for Rural Veterans grant.

This grant assists with repairs on homes owned by veterans living in rural areas outside of city limits. The Veterans Association has determined that several veterans are living in houses that are not being repaired and are subject to further deterioration. Co-founder of Greenhouse Ministries, Cliff Sharp, is excited about this new program.

"We are so excited about this generous grant from the Veteran's Administration," Sharp said. "We look forward to the possibility of helping our veteran neighbors."

Greenhouse Ministries is seeking requests from veterans living in rural areas in need of home repairs. Greenhouse Ministries is also seeking referrals from other agencies and organizations who are aware of veterans in need of assistance.
