Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam will be the keynote speaker in Friday's graduation ceremony at the Tennessee Rehabilitation Center (TRC) in Smyrna. The ceremony will celebrate 40 years of work helping students with disabilities learn skills to land a job.

The Tennessee Department of Human Services (TDHS) facility is one of only eight of its kind in the country. Most of the students live on campus while learning job skills ranging from auto repair and detailing to retail work and food service.

Roughly 30,000 students have benefited from the facility since it opened in 1977.
