A Barfield Crescent Road man has been charged with his 5th DUI. Terry Michael Hill was apprehended after Murfreesboro dispatch received a call about an injury accident on Rutherford Boulevard at Alumni Drive.

As police pulled up, the person who called the crash in pointed to a man allegedly walking away from the accident scene. Police quickly stopped the man who smelled of alcohol and appeared to be unsteady on his feet, according to a police report. After Mr. Hill refused a field sobriety test, he was arrested.

Hill was also charged as being a habitual offender and with driving on a revoked license for the second time. The suspect remains behind bars and is being held under an $11,500 bond.
