Heart disease is the No. 1 cause of death in the United States so make a healthy lifestyle part of your daily routine. February is American Heart Month, a perfect time to raise awareness about personal heart health.

A Free community health and wellness seminar to raise awareness about preventing heart disease will be held in Smyrna at StoneCrest Medical Center. Doctor Ram Sharma, an interventional cardiologist, will lead a discussion about the common heart condition including the symptoms, related health risks, treatment and prevention. A heart healthy lunch will be provided.
