Murfreesboro Medical Mission at Home served more than 250 patients Yahoo / Inbox

On Saturday, April 28, Saint Thomas Health hosted a free healthcare clinic at Holloway High School in Murfreesboro, in partnership with 15 community organizations to provide free medical care. More than 250 patients attended the Murfreesboro Medical Mission at Home to receive a combination of dental services, pharmacy services, mammography screening, vision services, foot and wound care, lab services, and behavioral medicine. In addition, more than 5,100 pounds of produce was given to attendees.

Since 2008, Saint Thomas Health has hosted more than 30 Medical Missions at Home in multiple locations throughout Middle Tennessee, including over 20,000 patient encounters for those who are most in need. Saint Thomas Health will also host a Medical Mission at Home in Warren County on July 28, 2018, and in Nashville on September 22, 2018. Information about upcoming medical missions can be found here.
