VA Helping People with Whole Health

TVHS is one of the VA's 18 Whole Health flagship sites. Whole Health is a new approach to healthcare focused on empowering and equipping Veterans to take charge of their health and well-being. As VA shifts from a health care system focused primarily on treating disease to one guided by a personalized health plan that considers the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and environmental needs of Veterans, the Whole Health System acknowledges that health care involves more than the physical human body.

In an effort to inform Veterans about this new approach to health care and all the exciting new programs and services associated with it, the different VA locations are hosting Introduction to Whole Health courses. They have been hosting these courses at the local Alvin C. York Campus in Murfreesboro and their Nashville campus, and will continue to do so.

Additionally, the VA wants to bring this course closer to those who might be interested, so they collaborated with Ft. Campbell and are excited to announce they are hosting classes there as well!
