Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred in Murfreesboro on May 31, 2018. The robbery unfolded at Magnolia Park Apartments on East Clark Boulevard.

The victim told officers that he was walking to his apartment at around 10PM when a black male walked out of a nearby tree line and pointed a gun to the victims face. The robber then ordered the victim to empty his pockets. After taking whatever cash the victim possessed, the armed subject fled on foot.

The robber was described as standing about 6 foot 3 and wearing all black. A Police K-9 was brought in to track the culprit, but the scent didn't take police far.

At this point, an arrest has not been made.
