The Rutherford County Board of Education has called for a special meeting on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at 8 a.m., for the purpose of touring potential land sites for future school construction.

In addition, the School Board has rescheduled its work session meeting from Tuesday, June 19, 2018, which will now be held on Monday, June 18 beginning at 6 p.m.

One purpose of the rescheduled work session meeting will be to review and potentially vote on land purchase options and allow time to forward any purchase requests to the County Commission's Health and Education Committee, which meets on Tuesday, June 19, 2018.
