Detectives Working to Identify Man who Robbed US Bank on Harding Pike

In nearby Nashville, police are asking for the help of those who live in neighboring areas in hopes of identifying a bank robber.

Metro officers and members of the FBI's Violent Crimes Task Force are working to identify the man who robbed US Bank's 4241 Harding Pike location at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday.

The robber entered the bank wearing a suit and tie with a white collared shirt. He presented a robbery demand note. The clerk complied. After receiving money, the robber fled.

The robber is a white man with red/brown hair who appears to be in his late 20s or early 30s who wore eyeglasses. He is approximately 5'8" tall with a slender build.

Anyone who recognizes the robber is urged to contact Nashville Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward.
