In nearby Davidson County, the Metro Nashville Police Department has arrested a Hermitage man for child porn related charges... again.
The man was previously given a six-year suspended sentence two years ago after being arrested for having multiple hardcore child porn videos and photos is once again being charged with possessing child porn.
An MNPD Sex Crimes Unit investigation of Jeremy Ryals, 41, who today was arrested for violating the requirements of the state's sex offender registry, revealed that he had a thumb drive in his Central Pike motel room that contained more than 40 videos of minor children engaged in sexual activity. Some of the videos included girls under the age of 10 engaged in sex acts with adult men. An arrest warrant charging Ryals with sexual exploitation of minors has just been issued.
The Tennessee Department of Correction swore out a warrant charging Ryals with a sex offender registration violation this morning after determining that he had failed to update his address as required by law after being evicted from a Murfreesboro Pike apartment on September 12th.
