Maney Avenue Street Improvement Project (between SE Broad Street and College Street)

Expected Road Closures: Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4:00 PM: Road construction work continues along Maney Avenue between E Castle St and E Vine Street. Access drives to the local residents and businesses will be kept open at all times.Motorists are advised to use Highland Ave and Academy Street travelling north/south and State Street and Main Street travelling east/west.

Lytle Creek Sewer Replacement Project (Woodmore Drive between Glaze Ct and Kirkwood Ave)

Expected Lane Closures: Monday - Wednesday: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM: The contractor will be backfilling and getting the roadway ready for paving on Woodmore Dr, Glaze Ct, and Kirkwood Ave.Kirkwood Ave will be closed between Middle Tennessee Blvd and Tremont Drive. Traffic will be detoured onto Houston Drive and Tremont Drive. Driveway access to local residents will be kept open at all times.

Veterans Pkwy (New section between Barfield Road/Kimbro Road and Barfield Crescent Road)

Expected Lane Closures: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM: The traffic on Barfield Crescent Road has been shifted to the south side near Lone Oak Drive. Appropriate lane shiftsigns and pavements markings are in-place. Contractor has started road work on the north side. The construction of the bridge over Stones River continues.Work continues, minor traffic interruptions.

MTSU Phase 3 Project (Intersection of Greenland Drive at Wiles Ct)

Expected Lane Closures: Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 2:00 PM: There will be minor lane closures on Greenland Drive at Wiles Court. Traffic signal and roadway work continues intermittently at the intersection.There will be minor traffic interruptions.Work continues, minor traffic interruptions 

Atmos Project (Vine Street between University Ave and Maney Ave)

Expected Lane Closures: Monday - Friday, 9 AM to 3:00 PM: The contractor for Atmos will be installing gas lines along Vine Street between University Ave and Academy St. There will be partial lane closures and traffic interruptions on Vine Street.

Lytle Street Sewer Construction Project (Lytle Street between Church Street and Maple Street)

Expected Lane Closures: Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM: The contractor for the Water and Sewer Department will be laying sanitary sewer pipe on Lytle Street between Church Street and Maple Street. Lytle Street will be closed between Church Street and Maple Street. Traffic will be detoured onto Burton Street and College Street. Northbound and Southbound traffic on Church Street and Maple Street will not be affected. Driveway access to local businesses will be kept open at all times.

Traffic Signal Work (Intersection of New Salem Highway and Veterans Pkwy)

Expected Lane Closures: Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4:00 PM: Traffic signal installing work continues intermittently at this location. There will be minor traffic interruptions and partial lane closures. Appropriate traffic controls will be in-place.

Murfreesboro Electric Tree Trimming Project (Minerva Drive between Bradyville Pike and Mercury Blvd)

Expected Lane Closures: Monday – Thursday, 8 AM to 4:00 PM: The contractor for Murfreesboro Electric Department will be trimming tree branches and vegetation along Minerva Drive between Bradyville Pike and Mercury Blvd. There will be partial lane closures and traffic interruptions on the east side of Minerva Drive. Appropriate traffic controls will be in-place.

Annual City Street Paving Project

Expected Lane Closures: Monday through Wednesday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM: City milling and paving crews will working on N Tennessee Blvd between E Northfield Blvd and Alexander Blvd: Expect lane shifts and traffic interruptions during these operations.
