Someone was evidently going for a little Christmas cash, but ultimately failed.

Regions Bank reported that someone tried to break into their ATM machine at 1685 Middle Tennessee Boulevard in Murfreesboro. When police arrived, they found that the window on the screen was broken. Three cameras surrounding the money machine may have caught the culprit in the act.

An investigation is underway now. No cash was obtained in the incident.
