Siegel High School's Model UN participated in the Volunteer Model United Nations (VolMUN) Conference at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, last weekend.
Siegel's 41 delegates represented a variety of diverse nations, including the United Kingdom, Germany, South Korea, Morocco, Chile, Ireland, and Qatar. For the first time in school history, Siegel earned Best Large Delegation, the highest honor at the conference awarded to the most well-researched and involved team in debate among 16 schools in attendance. Furthermore, 12 delegates received awards for their individual performance in debate, a record-setting number for Siegel Model UN.
