More and more round-a-bouts are being built throughout Murfreesboro. Not only is there a new one directly off of Broad Street connecting W. Burton, W. Lytle and W. College Streets, but multiple round-a-bouts have been installed in neighborhoods.

Murfreesboro Police Lt. Clayton Williams explains the importance of the road changes...

According to the Murfreesboro 2035 literature, "Roundabouts are 60% more efficient, in terms of traffic flow, than lights or signs" The only downside is that the round-a-bouts are costly. The Broad Street roundabout cost about $2.8 million.
