Tip Your Waiter is an enjoyable and unique luncheon event centered around raising needed funds to assist the agency in providing healing and protective services in our community.

Skyler "Sky" Harris, a native of Memphis, Tennessee, is a visionary with a heart for serving others. In addition to her career as a Murfreesboro TN Police Department Officer, Skyler has used her passion for women's empowerment to encourage and inspire women of all backgrounds to be authentically themselves.

In 2016, Skyler was able to share her story of surviving Domestic Violence as a contestant on NBC's The Voice. After leaving the show, she realized that using her voice to discuss the many ways that domestic violence touched her life was something she would continue to do in hopes of validating someone else's journey, educating the community, and to inspire change.

Domestic violence and sexual assault remains a growing problem in Rutherford County. Every year the Center is seeing a 5-10% increase is those seeking their help. Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Center is the only free service provider to victims in our community who need healing and protective services to overcome the trauma of personal violence.

The event, thoughtfully set in April in honor of National Sexual Assault Awareness Month, will be held at Stones River Country Club on Wednesday, April 17th, from 12 noon - 1:00 pm.
