Food Lion is closing more than 100 of their stores across the country. That number includes their two stores in Murfreesboro and one in Smyrna. The stores in Murfreesboro are on South Church Street and Lascassas Pike. The closing of the stores will happen fairly quick, we are told within the next 30-days. 4,900 people will lose their jobs nationwide.
