Gwendolyn Cates, age 84 of Smyrna died Thursday.

She is survived by her daughter, Ericka Lynne Edwards of Murfreesboro; son, Larry Edward Cates of Nashville; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be after 12Noon on Sunday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Funeral service will be 2PM Sunday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna.
