MTSU Offices CLOSED on July 4

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -- MTSU will be closed Thursday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day. All business offices will be closed and no classes will be held that day.

July 4 building closures include the James E. Walker Library, Student Health, Wellness and Recreation Center, Campus Pharmacy and Student Union.

Offices will reopen at 8 a.m. and all summer session classes will resume at their regular times Friday, July 5, following the holiday break.

City offices closing for Independence Day holiday July 4

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - In observance of Independence Day, City Hall and most other City offices will be closed Thursday, July 4, 2019.

• St. Clair Street Senior Center will be closed.

• Rover, the City's public transportation system, will not run on Independence Day.

Most recreational facilities will be closed July 4th.

• OPEN JULY 4, 2019 - Sports*Com Outdoor Pool called the Boro Beach will be OPEN: Sports*Com's outdoor pool will be open from 10 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. for the July 4th 'Rock the Pool Party.'

• Adams Tennis Complex will be open from 8 a.m.- 2 p.m. on Independence Day. For Schedule of Fees and Hours for Adams Complex, visit http://www.murfreesborotn.gov/808/Schedule-of-Fees-Hours.

• Old Fort, Bloomfield Links and VA Golf Courses will be open for business on Independence Day. For Schedule of Fees, visit https://www.oldfortgolfclub.com/rates-and-fees. Contact Old Fort Golf Club by calling 615-896-2448.

• The Solid Waste Department will be closed Independence Day. There will be no garbage pick-up on Thursday, July 4th. Thursday trash collection will move to Wednesday.

• The Main Street Convenience Center for recycling cardboard, plastics and metals will be open Wednesday, July 3rd, and Friday, July 5th, from 7:30-3:55 p.m. The Center will be closed on Independence Day, Thursday, July 4th. NOTE: Murfreesboro City Hall business will resume regular hours of operation, which are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., on Friday, July 5, 2019.
