An unresponsive man in the front seat of a car was found unresponsive on June 22nd in Murfreesboro. When Police arrived, they were met by paramedics already on the scene and performing CPR on the 21-year-old.
According to a report filed by MPD, the man had overdosed and was eventually saved after NARCAN was administered by emergency workers. Once conscious, the subject told officers that he snorted a XANAX tablet while at his grandparents home on Four Seasons Drive.
The car that the 21-year-old was located in belonged to an Uber driver. The driver said that she received a message about picking the man up on Juniper Drive and when she arrived, several people on site told her he needed to be taken to the hospital. While on route, the man stopped breathing and the Uber driver called 9-1-1.
No charges have been filed and the man who overdosed has recovered.
