The City of Murfreesboro hosted its annual "Celebration Under the Stars" Thursday, July 4 at McKnight Park. Festivities kicked off with a "Rock the Pool" party at the Boro Beach behind the Sports*Com complex.

The band Love Canon took the stage at 7:30 p.m. playing the likes of Peter Gabriel, Billy Joel, Depeche Mode, and Paul Simon.

The fireworks display by Pyro Shows lit the night sky at 9 p.m. to close out the event.
