Indecent Exposure on South Church Street

Jul 15, 2019 at 06:32 pm by Bryan Barrett

Indecent Exposure was the charge that landed a Northfield Boulevard man behind bars in past days.

A Taco Bell worker on South Church Street near Warrior Drive told Murfreesboro Police that the suspect, later identified as Charles Alvin Deskins, was exposing himself to customers. The police report narrative written by an MPD officer stated, "I made contact with multiple witnesses who advised they witnessed the male, outside the business, zipping and unzipping his pants, the witnesses also advised they saw the suspect walk next door." The report also suggested that Deskins was drinking a 40-ounce beer, smelled of an intoxicant and was unsteady on his feet.

When officers asked if Deskins exposed himself, he said that he was at Taco Bell, but didn't expose himself.

Deskins will have to tell his story in a Rutherford County Courtroom in the near future. As of Sunday night (07/14/19) Deskins was still behind bars at the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center unable to pay bond.
