Needles, Meth and Heroin Equal Citations and an Arrest in Murfreesboro

A woman who was allegedly seen disposing of needles at the Speedway Gas Station on the New Salem Highway at I-24 was questioned by police.

Three needles found where witnesses saw the woman place them were recovered by police. Cauitlin Milewski admitted to discarding the needles stating that, "They were old and she had new ones." Milewski was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Officers then spoke to Crystal Cagle who was gathered with several others in or next to a car parked at the gas station. Inside the car, police found what appeared to be methamphetamine. The report stated, "Ms. Cagle admitted to owning the methamphetamine." The woman also admitted to trying to hide it when she saw police pulling in. She was issued a misdemeanor citation.

Also on the scene, police spoke to William Woodroof who was in the store using the restroom. The man admitted to possessing a needle. He was also carrying with him a butane lighter and a bottle cap, "which he admitted (after being mirandized) he used to mix up heroin." Woodruff was issued a misdemeanor citation by police.

Another subject by the name of Nicholas Stetar admitted to having heroin hidden inside of a folded card. Stetar was issued a misdemeanor citation.
