An armed robbery took place in the 1400 block of Haynes Drive on July 6, 2019 in Murfreesboro. The grandmother and mother of the victim told police that their grandson / son was the target of the crime.

The victim claimed that he was in his grandmothers house when four men broke into the home. The teen told authorities that the subjects attacked him after they entered through the back door. The men also demanded the victim hand over his wallet.

The four men hit him over the head with the blunt end of a gun and continued to beat him. The victim said that he tried to fight back as much as possible before the robbers fled the house.

The grandmother was upstairs when the four men broke into her house. When she heard the commotion downstairs, she went to see what was happening. It was at that point that she saw the men attacking her grandson. The woman was then grabbed by one of the culprits and pushed against the wall.
