Murfreesboro City Schools are looking at the idea of building a new K-6th grade school. The schools are looking at the possibility of spending $20-million dollars on a new school in the western portion of the city. That request of funding will go before the City Council. A new school should be able to serve up to 1,000 students. The schools would need approximately 30-acres to build a new facility on, if approved by the council.
