MURFREESBORO - There was a reported assault on February Street in Murfreesboro, but an arrest could not be made because all parties involved could not corroborate their stories.

A police report showed that two people went to pick up personal property at a house in the 100 block of February Street and once there, a resident came out of the house with a gun. One of the two who went to the home to pick up their belongings said that the resident put the gun in his face.

After police arrived on the scene, one of the three subjects left the area and went to a nearby gas station. That person claimed that he was threatened as well.

As a result of the pointing fingers and inability to form a solid story that made sense, no arrest could be made and those involved were informed of how to file a warrant.
