County STATE Officials Invite Public To Smyrna

(SMYRNA) The Rutherford County Legislative delegation will host Tennessee House Speaker Cameron Sexton (R-Crossville) for a community meeting at 6:00 o'clock Wednesday night at the Smyrna Town Center, 100 Sam Ridley Parkway.

The event takes place at the Smyrna Town Center, located at 100 Sam Ridley Parkway, from 6:00PM-8:00PM. It provides an opportunity for Speaker Sexton and the delegation to visit with citizens and to hear more from community leaders about the important and evolving issues in Rutherford County. Education issues will be discussed with the Murfreesboro City and Rutherford County School Boards from 6-7 PM with Rutherford County issues discussed afterwards with the County Commission.

"We are excited to host Speaker Sexton for Wednesday night's event, and we anticipate a great evening for the citizens of Rutherford County," said delegation members. "These types of meetings are a great way to interact with elected officials, ask questions, and they play an important role in helping us shape policies that benefit our community and this state."
