On Thursday, at an award ceremony held at Eagleville City Hall, State Senator Dawn White (R-Murfreesboro) presented a proclamation to James Curlee for receiving the 2019 Volunteer of the Year Award from the Eagleville City Council. The proclamation is signed by Senator White, Representative Tim Rudd (R-Murfreesboro) and Lt. Governor Randy McNally.
"Mr. Curlee exemplifies the volunteer spirit of Tennessee and has done amazing work to bring the community together in a new way," said Senator White. "This farmers market provides great value to the community by offering a way for citizens to connect with their local farmers and buy local fresh produce. The Eagleville Farmers Market will continue to benefit the community for years to come, and I am pleased to present this proclamation to a volunteer so deserving of this award."
