UPDATE: While most events are shutting down, at least one is still on GO.
The Arrowhead Boys Ranch is holding their annual 5K Run for the Ranch fundraiser Saturday (3/14/2020)! The fundraiser will begin at 8 a.m. at 239 Cortner Mill Rd., in Normandy, TN. If you are interested, you can register online at arrowheadranchtn.net. If you register by March 9, the registration fee will be $20. After March 9, the fee will be $25. The registration fee for children age 10 or under will be $10. Jeff Sweeney, co-founder of Arrowhead Boys Ranch, will direct the event. Runners will receive free t-shirts, awards for the top runners, snacks and drinks. Come out to meet the boys and staff at the ranch while enjoying a day full of fun for the whole family!
Runners at every level enjoy our beautiful but challenging course that stretches across the ranch and the Duck River. The change of elevation and terrain will be a challenge for the runners, but the beautiful views and special features will make the run worthwhile. Proceeds from the fundraiser will go directly to expenses such as housing, counseling, food, health care, transportation and activities for the boys at Arrowhead Ranch.
The Arrowhead Boys Ranch is a non-profit, long term residential care facility for boys ages 10-18 years old that are dealing with conflict and misguided direction in their lives. While at the ranch, the boys learn the importance of hard work and team building while in a Christian family environment. Arrowhead Ranch's goal is to instill hope and a sense of purpose into the boys as they grow into young men.
