Local pediatrician at Murfreesboro Medical Clinic, Dr. Jeremy Harrison, has been a supporter of St. Baldrick's since he attended his first event in 2010. After seeing the community of Atlanta come together to help find better treatment options and a cure for childhood cancers Dr. Harrison and his wife, Dawn, brought the head-shaving event to Murfreesboro in 2010. Since then, the event has raised over $500,000.

One in five children diagnosed with cancer in the U.S. will not survive. Those who do survive often suffer long-term effects from treatment too harsh for their developing bodies. As the largest private funder of childhood cancer research grants, St. Baldrick's Foundation is leading the charge to defeat childhood cancer.
