(MURFREESBORO) More on the shooting that occurred around 5:30PM on Sunday, April 5, 2020, on Fourth Avenue and Minor Street. When police arrived, there was no victim. While gathering evidence, a shooting victim arrived at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital's ER. 30-year old Johnathan Cathey was admitted.

Police rushed to the hospital and interviewed several witnesses. A person of interest was identified.

WGNS has learned that Cathey has now been released from the hospital.

According to Public Information Officer Larry Flowers, that suspect who was developed when detectives interviewed witnesses, has not yet been apprehended.
