Special Kids asks Volunteers to Pray

Apr 30, 2020 at 11:19 am by Bryan Barrett

To celebrate and honor "National Day of Prayer", Special Kids invites the community to join them in prayer on Thursday, May 7, 2020. This day of prayer will be as great of an opportunity as ever to remind us of the love, faith and unity that exists in this community.

A member of the Special Kids staff will volunteer for each hour, with a pre-assigned topic focused on the recovery of our community and nation in the wake of the COVID-19 health crisis. Each hour, a staff member's prayer will be posted on social media as they encourage all of their audience (including family members, partners, and friends of Special Kids) to pray along throughout the day.

Special Kids is asking for you as an individual or an organization to "volunteer" for a prayer you would like to take part in, as listed below. The non-profit says they would love the involvement of as many individuals as possible, however groups, organizations, and businesses will be the only "named" participants other than the member of their team leading the prayer.

9 AM - Prayer for local government
