It happened on Maylon Drive near Cason Lane in Murfreesboro… an unknown man driving what appeared to be a Pontiac with tinted windows, stopped in front of a home where children were playing outside and asked the kids if they wanted candy or ice cream. The incident was reported on Wednesday at 4:30 in the afternoon. The children, ages 5, 9 and 11 quickly ran inside to tell their mother about the incident. The mother went outside and observed the vehicle turn around and make a second trip past her residence.  Unfortunately, the license plate could not be observed and the man, described as a white male in his late twenties or early thirties with reddish blonde hair and a buzz cut, got away before police arrived.
