In Smyrna, a tractor trailer accident caused quite the delay for motorist Thursday morning. Evidently, the truck caught fire on Interstate 24 near the Sam Ridley Parkway interchange. As for what sparked the truck fire, it is not known at this time. Reports indicate that no one was injured in the incident and the scene was cleared by 9AM.
