In this post-COVID 19 world more persons are seeking new jobs. The Rutherford County Library System is looking for community volunteers to help review resumes from your neighbors.
Library Technology and Outreach Coordinator Trey Gwinn said, "Many of these job seekers will need help updating and polishing their resume. So, they're offering a free, and completely digital resume review service."
In layman's language, that mean's your resume is never touched by other human's hands and you don't talk face-to-face with anyone at the library.
Rutherford County Library System seeks to build a list of Rutherford County business community members to occasionally fill the role of anonymous resume reviewers.
Gwinn noted that his group will act as a clearinghouse and first review for resumes submitted by interested patrons. Then, the resumes will be divided up among the community volunteers for review.
He stressed, "Joining the RCLS Resume Review Cohort is a low impact way to help your fellow citizens in a time of increasing need!"
If you would like to be added to the Cohort or have more questions please email Trey Gwinn at tgwinn@rclstn.org or call 615-649-1358
