The Boys and Girls Clubs of Rutherford County celebrated their two seniors with a drive-by parade. Seniors Josh Smith and Carissa Smith were both congratulated by staff, board members and supporters Wednesday.
Josh was surprised to see the caravan drive up his street, with two large club buses and over a dozen vehicles, including WGNS:
After graduating from the International Baccalaureate Program at Oakland High School, Charissa plans to attend the University of Memphis. She will be studying Computer Science and taking classes under statistics and graphic design in hopes of learning the front and back end of computer science. She wants to work in Silicone Valley for either Google or YouTube.
WGNS was honored to be along for part of the parade and we have a video from it along with photos at WGNSRadio.com.
