(MURFREESBORO) Director of Murfreesboro City Schools Linda Gilbert suffered a stroke at her home this morning (5/20/2020). Dr. Gilbert has been taken to specialists in Nashville for treatment.

She was a regular on WGNS and always talked about "Meeting the needs of the whole child by achieving synergy between the school community and the larger community itself, the greatness of the district comes from unquestioned values, unsurpassed knowledge, and unbridled innovation and creativity."
