MTSU Board of Trustees to hold Virtual Committee Meetings on Tuesday, June 2

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -- Due to coronavirus concerns, the Middle Tennessee State University Board of Trustees will hold its Tuesday, June 2, committee meetings electronically.

Some of the items to be highlighted include the proposal of new academic degree programs, capital projects and policy revisions.

The meetings will begin at 9 a.m. and will proceed, with no or minimal breaks between meetings.

Order outlined below:

• Academic Affairs, Student Life, and Athletics Committee: Agenda items include approval of minutes; and, recommendations concerning candidates for tenure and promotion, revisions to policies, and new academic degree programs.

• Audit and Compliance Committee: Agenda items include approval of minutes; and, information concerning results of external reviews and quarterly internal audit reports.

• Finance and Personnel Committee: Agenda items include approval of minutes; and, recommendations concerning capital outlay project submittal; capital disclosures; capital maintenance projects submittal; tuition, fees and housing rates; operating budgets; and, policy revisions.
