Murfreesboro Police were called to the Knights Inn on South Church Street Thursday night (5/28/2020) around 9:30 after a report was made about an assault. One female was injured.
Upon arrival, officers made contact with a woman who told officers she was a passenger in a van with three men and after arriving to the motel, one of the men went into a motel room to use the restroom. Some type of argument ensued among the other two men who were still with the female. Public Information Officer Larry Flowers told WGNS, "The driver took off at a high rate of speed. The woman pleaded to be let out of the van. One of the men pushed her out of the van causing the injuries."
A warrant was issued for "Simple Assault" against the man who allegedly pushed the female out of the moving van. However, the man has yet to be located. As for the victim, see was not seriously injured.
