The land development on the New Salem Highway at Interstate 24 continues. As heard on past news stories, some of the progress in that area will include a new COSTCO store and a possible factory.

The Barrett .50 caliber rifle is manufactured in Murfreesboro and this will be the first public shooting range in Rutherford County that will be big enough for guests to fire the weapon. The gun has an effective range of 1,969 yards.
As of Thursday (6/18/2020), construction on Costco and a new RV Dealer have yet to start.
