A 20-year old Murfreesboro man was arrested after police found a safe in his apartment that contained marijuana and hash. James Belt evidently let the police into his residence when they showed up with his probation officer on Wednesday. Police say that $1,000 in the safe was also seized from Belt as it wsa believed to be proceeds from illegal drug sales. Belt was charged with maintaining a dwelling for the purpose of conducting drug activity and with the sale of a schedule six drug. He was placed under a $7,000 bond and told to be in court on May 21st.
