It began Saturday night in Williamson County at approximately 11:30 pm when Franklin’s Emergency Communications Center received a call about a possible drunk driver weaving in and out of traffic near Columbia Avenue and Mack Hatcher Memorial Parkway. When officers spotted the vehicle near Century Court, they found the driver, 27-year-old Jason Charland of Murfreesboro, to be impaired. Charland, a convicted felon on probation, was charged with DUI – Second Offense and Violation of the Light Law. He is free on a $3,500 bond."
