MTMC Receives TCPE "Commitment Award"

Middle Tennessee Medical Center received the "Commitment Award" at the 19thAnnual Excellence in Tennessee Awards sponsored by the Tennessee Center for Performance Excellence. Banquet. This award is given to organizations that are beginning to demonstrate commitment to, and implementation of, performance improvement principles.

The Tennessee Center for Performance Excellence is a non-profit organization helping Tennessee businesses achieve performance excellence using the Baldrige National Criteria.

More than 500 business and community leaders from across Tennessee packed the ballroom of the Franklin Marriott Cool Springs to salute the winners. Thirty-five organizations representing high performing businesses, government agencies, nonprofit and education organizations were recognized for their commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.

The Commitment Award was presented to Middle Tennessee Medical Center by Tennessee Department of Health Commissioner Dr. John J. Dreyzehner and TNCPE President and CEO Katie Rawls.
