Both City Hall and the Discovery School will undergo new energy efficient renovations, and the Parks & Recreation Director approved a C.D.C. and Center for Physical Activity and Health in Youth grant to further fund their Families Understanding Nature and Nutrition (F.U.N.N.) Project, striving to get kids more active. Finally, one public hearing was held to rezone 1.92 acres along Memorial Boulevard to Highway Commercial District, and another was scheduled to consider rezoning an area along Robert Rose Drive from Single-Family Residential to Planned Unit Development District. That hearing has been scheduled for March 29th.
