A chain reaction crash around 8:30 Thursday night (3/1/2012). Several vehicles were involved in the incident near the Old Fort Parkway interstate exit. Eastbound lanes (toward Chattanooga) were blocked several hours.  The Tennessee Highway Patrol worked the serious accident, and reports indicate on person had to  be extricated from their vehicle.
