It was a mess on I-24 east on Thursday night. One wreck caused a chain reaction of multiple wrecks. The incident occurred near the Old Fort Parkway exit. At least four ambulances were called to the scene. Patrol cars with the Sheriff’s Department and the Highway Patrol assisted in helping several of the crash victims. The wrecks happened at 9:30, Thursday night.
