A dead body was discovered in an abandoned home on Friday afternoon at 4:30 in Murfreesboro. The body was found in a vacant home located at 709 South East Broad Street. Police say the deceased person was a male. Officials have not released the man’s identity or the cause of his death at this time. Detectives are investigating.
