A 34-year old Murfreesboro man has been charged with the rape of a 67-year old woman. The rape occurred on January 27th in the victim’s home near Barfield. The victim says the man entered her home and forcibly raped her in the bathroom. The victim recognized the suspect as being an acquaintance of her son. Charles E. Jordan will appear in court on a single rape charge May 22nd.
