Scam Roofing Company Steals Customers Money

Mar 19, 2012 at 12:51 pm by Bryan Barrett

A roofing scam has affected one Murfreesboro resident in recent days. A Flowers Court homeowner called the police after patiently waiting for a roofing company to begin replacing his roof. The roofing company failed to start on the roofing job and failed to return the victims phone calls after the victim paid the company $4,000 for material’s. The homeowner is now out $4,000 and will have to live with his existing roof for the time being.

A quick check on the internet revealed that the company, whose name we are not releasing because an arrest has not been made, has scammed other people in the past… most recently in Nebraska.  A search of the company’s phone number showed that the scam roofing contractor is using two different company names when contacting homeowners. The phone number has a 405-area code which indicates the company is out of Edmond, Oklahoma. Again, no arrest has been made in this most recent roofing scam.
