A Nashville man told police that he believes he was set up for a robbery on Monday in Murfreesboro. The 28-year old victim told officers that he went to a female acquaintances apartment on Manor Drive and while inside, was robbed at gunpoint by a man who was evidently hiding in the kitchen. The victim recalled that earlier in the evening when he talked to the female on the phone, he heard her tell someone in the apartment to hide. When he asked her who she was talking to, she said that she was only talking to the TV. During the robbery the suspect, who has yet to be arrested, allegedly ordered the female by name to search the victims’ pockets prior to leaving the residence. When the suspect fled the scene the victim accused the female of setting him up, which she denied. The victim told police that he believes the female’s boyfriend was the one who robbed him. So far, he has not been apprehended.
